Do you teach pickup-artist techniques?
No. We do not teach manipulation, negging, jealousy games, "make them obsessed" tactics, dark psychology, or persistence after a no. We teach expressing interest clearly and reading whether it is mutual.
Are your writers psychologists or dating coaches?
No, and we do not pretend to be. Guides are written and reviewed by the Better Flirting Editorial Team with a focus on practical communication. Our standards are in the editorial policy.
Is this therapy?
No. Better Flirting is educational communication guidance. If anxiety or distress around dating feels overwhelming, a qualified professional can help.

What does How Flirty Is This? do?
You paste a message you are thinking of sending, choose where you are with the person and how flirty you want to be, and get a qualitative read on the vibe, what works, what could be better, and one rewrite.
Is the tool really free?
Yes. There is no signup and no email required. There is an hourly limit to prevent abuse; if you reach it you still get a read from the built-in checker.
Do you store the messages I paste?
No. Messages are processed for one request and discarded. They never go into a URL, analytics, or any public page.
Why does the tool refuse some messages?
It will not optimize messages that pressure, threaten, harass, sexually escalate, push past a no, or involve anyone under 18. Instead it suggests a respectful alternative — often backing off.
